Welcome to Anna MacGillivray Counselling
Trauma-informed, holistic therapy in Vancouver, BC.
Find growth and healing through mind-body connection.
Therapy is a collaborative experience that involves exploring patterns, gaining awareness and insight to support personal growth, processing emotion, and developing strategies to approach any challenging parts of your life.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, my counselling approach draws on the significant connection between the mind and body, the understanding of how our emotional experiences impact the body, and the healing nature of authentic human connection.
I have specialized experience offering support through eating disorder therapy, somatic therapy, trauma therapy, and addiction recovery counselling. In-person counselling is offered in Vancouver and online counselling is available throughout BC.
Wherever you are in life, accessing support from a qualified clinical counsellor can be a valuable addition to your wellness and self-care habits. If you have specific therapy goals or are curious about self-exploration, I focus on helping you move toward the life you’re looking for. Counselling can be supportive if you're looking to gain insight, build self-confidence, feel more empowered, or want to explore your identity.
Hi! I’m Anna,
Registered Clinical Counsellor in Vancouver, BC
As a therapist, I hope to offer you support in the exploration of your health and wellbeing. Over the years, my experiences and studies have led me to focus on health as the integration of our experiences, mind, body, and soul. This awareness has led me to better understand emotions and their manifestations in the physical body. Whether you’re wanting to work on a specific struggle or behaviour, gain insight and self-awareness, or have space to check in and explore, I’m here to come alongside you with compassion and acceptance.
Whether you’re pursuing personal growth and self-exploration or wanting to focus on something more specific, therapy is for everyone.
